Mission brief
The current Anime Expeditions S Tier contains 8 units or evolved forms that combine high damage with scaling, control, status pressure, or team value. The A Tier and specialist group contains 8 strong picks that need a specific stage, partner, or economy plan.
Last reviewed: 2026-08-24 Version: Update 1.0 Warrior Saga Method: current community tier groups cross-checked against the documented roster and kit evidence Important: a tier is an investment shortlist, not a promise that every unit fits every stage
How this tier list is built
The groups prioritize current performance, team contribution, and the cost of reaching that performance. Units stay in one group even when sources disagree on exact order; the table records whether this site has a full dossier or only an Update 1.0 snapshot.
- S Tier requires strong current output plus scaling, control, status pressure, or team value
- A Tier / specialist means strong value with a narrower stage, partner, or economy requirement
- Evidence depth is visible so an Update 1.0 roster snapshot is not mistaken for a completed dossier
- Recheck after balance changes because tiers can move without a new content page
S Tier — strongest current investments
These units are the strongest current investment candidates when their acquisition and upgrade cost fits the account. Check traits, equipment, and the unit dossier before committing rare resources.

What is not published here
- Exact numeric order — current sources disagree and balance changes can invalidate a precise ladder
- Automatic trait recommendations for every account — the best reroll depends on role, placement count, and equipment
- Unverified Update 1.0 kits — roster rows without a full dossier remain labeled as snapshots
- A guarantee of future value — events, balance changes, and new units can move a tier
Until that testing exists, the more useful question is which unit fits the stage in front of you. The unit roster lists every documented kit, Traits covers what to reroll for, Equipment covers what to farm, and the beginner guide covers the order to do it in.
